The search is over!

I have been looking everywhere online on how to do this and I couldn’t find any info anywhere. After hours of searching on how to do it in Outlook, I finally found it. I’m sharing the steps to save your soul from the torture.

Sometimes when I create a calendar appointment from other devices such as my phone, tablet etc. the appointment, for some reason, shows as a meeting in the Microsoft Calendar and when you try to save it, you get this error message: This meeting cannot be sent because there are no recipient names in the To box. Would you like to save and close this meeting instead?

After click yes, it will close it but the calendar still shows as a meeting. You can see on the upper left of the calendar event, it shows as meeting.

The solution is to cancel the invitation by clicking the three dots … on the upper right

Click on Cancel Invitation

You will see that the meeting is now changed to appointment. Here’s a video that shows how to do it, too. Please like and don’t forget to subscribe! 🙂
