If you grew up in the 90’s to early 2000’s during the PSone era, you’ve probably heard or played Chrono Cross.
I remember playing this game when I was a kid. The first time I heard the music from this game, I was astonished. It was really calming, mysterious and just out of this world.
The gameplay was fun and easy to understand, but the story is a little confusing. You’ll sometimes get stuck when you forget what to do next, there’s no one to talk to or any help indicator about your next objectives.
It would be interesting to see Square Enix remaster or remake this masterpiece. I would definitely buy it, no questions asked. Right now, people online have re-upscaled the texture and a widescreen option. It looks stunning. Here are some screenshots.
So cool, right? Now imagine a remake of this game for the PlayStation 5, it would be a dream come true.

All the official so called remasters are terrible so no WE don’t want to spend money on such crap. The mod community so as indie devs do a far better job when it comes to this so I rather fund them. Most don’t even ask for money because after all this is a legal matter so they release these for free anyways. Why should anyone sane pay for some slapped together mess when we have far better alternatives. Besides many still love to play the originals as they are. Be happy for the old games as they are, play them as meant to be played or just move on with your life because you will never get an official masterpiece as back in a day it use to be.
