The recent Google Chrome update added a new feature “Search your screen with Google Lens” and replaced the old “Search Google for image”.
While some people prefer the new Google Lens, others don’t. I think the old image search is more user friendly and accurate, so I disabled Google Lens.
To disable Search Image with Google Lens and use the old Search Google for Image, on the search bar, type or copy and paste this:
chrome://flags/#enable-lens-region-search
Under “Search your screen with Google Lens”, click the dropdown menu on the right and choose Disabled. Restart Google Chrome and Google Lens should be disabled now.
Now you can use the old Google Image search. If you want to enable Google Lens, just go back to the same settings above and select Enable under “Search your screen with Google Lens”.
